Food Intolerance testing.

It has long been known that consumption of certain foods can have a profound effect on our physical and psychological well-being. This is even more prevalent in todays' world with the huge consumption of processed foods.

Problems or symptoms may be seen as:

  • Respiratory - rhinitis, sinusitis and asthma

  • Musculoskeletal - arthritis, joint pains, aching muscles and weakness

  • Gastrointestinal - vomiting, bloating, cramping, excessive wind, water retention, nausea, constipation, diarrhoea, weight control and colic

  • Central Nervous System - migraine, headache, impaired concentration, mood changes, depression, fatigue and hyperactivity

  • Dermatological - urticaria, eczema, itchy skin and other rashes

Symptoms can appear up to three days after eating the "offending" food and can last for weeks. This is why it is so difficult to identify food intolerances by keeping food diaries as we are often unable to pinpoint the cause.
